If you enjoy sewing you need to check out the McCall's pattern sale at JoAnn's right now! Until Saturday the 24th all McCall's patterns are 99 cents! I bought 4 tonight and my total savings was $56!!! I spent $4 instead of $60! Insane right? They have some pretty good sales on their fabric right now also. This is one of their best sales of the year so definitely check it out before Saturday.

Fresh Fruits and Veggies

I am wanting to get back to the basics of food (making more things from scratch and not so much processed foods) and do more of the Word of Wisdom's suggestions. I want to join a food coop, but realized there is a Farmer's Market in Lewisville that I wanted to try first before the food coop....wanted to share what I found

Need some help ladies!

I have come across several projects that I would like to do the only problem is that I need a thrift store to do them! The DI may be what I miss most about Utah! What I needed to know is if any of you ladies know of a good thrift store(s) in the area? Even though we've lived here over a year now, I still feel totally lost on finding things around here! Thanks for your help!

Cooking with kids

I came across this website a few days ago and Melody and I have had a blast making all of these different recipes! This lady is just way too creative! She makes each of the holidays so much fun, plus it's gotten me out of the peanut butter and jelly lunch time slump we've been in forever!
